Professor Edvardsson, the Director of the Swedish Research Centre, is a frequent consultant to public and private sector business, including Volvo, Motorola and Nokia. He has won numerous awards for contribution to the field of service management including the prestigious career contributions award from the American Marketing Association. He is the Editor of the Journal of Service Management and a frequent contributor to Journal of Service Research, European Journal of Marketing and Managing Service Quality.
