<p>All you need to do is go to the NCKU Eagle office and sign up.  Simple as that!  Directions to the office are at the bottom of this post.</p>
<p>The students I&#8217;ve helped in the past have brought me all kinds of different things.  University applications, essays, diaries, resumes, theses&#8230;  This offer is open to any NCKU student who wants help with writing &#8211; it doesn&#8217;t matter what kind.</p>
<p>Please note that the editors will not edit your work for you.  We are here to help you improve your writing through one-on-one instruction and guidance.</p>
<p>So, if you need some help with your writing please stop by. If you know somebody that needs help, then please encourage them to come in.  This is a great program, but if it students don&#8217;t use it, then the University may decide to stop it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The NCKU anniversary falls annually on November 11.  Every department is going to be involved in a parade on Guang Fu Campus, by the track.  The IIMBA department always participates in this parade to show the strength and diversity of our department.  If you have any traditional dress or ornaments from your country, please bring them to show the pride of your country.  Please note that this is a mandatory event for juniors, and that all IMBA students are invited to attend.</p>
<ul>
<li>What:  Participate in a university parade.</li>
<li>When: <strong>8:00 am on November 11<sup>th</sup></strong>, Wednesday.</li>
<li>Where: <strong>In front of the Department of Management</strong><br />
(The IMBA building).  We will walk over to the track together.</li>
<li>Who: All IMBA students, <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">mandatory for juniors.</span></strong></li>
<li>What to bring:  Traditional dress from your country.</li>
</ul>

<p>Jojo will be giving two seminars. The first on Thursday Feb 26th at 9am and the second on March 1st during the last two hours of SBM 2-4 pm.</p>

<p>The following is an email from Jojo concerning the seminars:</p>
<div>Following the required format for your IIMBA <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #ff0000">proposal and thesis</span></span> is <span style="color: #ff0000"><span style="font-weight: bold">vital </span></span>for your smooth sailing in the program (or a smoother sailing at least: if you do not follow regulations, it will not be approved until you do&#8230;however long it takes you). These skills can be developed during your reports in your other classes, so <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #ff0000">even if you are a junior, it is advised you come </span></span>- as next year I (Jojo) will not be here to hold your hand, and you will be responsible to teach your juniors.</div>
<div>A few questions for you to consider:</div>

<ul>
<li>Do you know how to easily find journal articles (useful and of quality)?</li>
<li>Do you know how to use the Thesis template and MS Word&#8217;s <span style="font-style: italic">style</span> function to ensure your formatting adheres to IIMBA&#8217;s strict format regulations?</li>
<li>[If you are using or would like to use EndNote]: Do you know how to use EndNote and ensure no errors in your citation format will occur?</li>
<li>Do you feel confident you can figure the above out by just using the step-by-step tutorials I have created and provided to you before (and are once again attached here)?</li>
</ul>

<div>If you have answered &#8216;<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #ff0000">no</span></span>&#8216; to one or more of the above questions I strongly urge you to attend one of the two seminars listed below. Perhaps you already attended one of my previous seminars &#8211; but if you are now going to do your proposal, or think a refresher would be helpful (because you perhaps have not started using the skills yet and have forgotten most of what was covered), <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #ff0000">you should come</span></span>.</div>
<div>If you already sent your proposal to the format checkers <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #ff0000">and did a terrible job formatting</span></span> (you know who you are!! I definitely know who you are~~), you MUST come to one of the seminars.</div>
<div><span style="color: #ff0000"><span style="font-weight: bold">I have attached the ppt I will go through</span></span> (I will be expanding on it of course), with some of the E-resource and other tricks; you are encouraged to print it out before you come to the seminar so you can take notes on it to highlight important issues. <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #ff0000"> I have also attached a zip folder containing the template and the tutorials</span></span> (if you have older versions &#8211; older than this February, please delete them and replace them with these; <span style="font-weight: bold">for the template the most updated one is v2!!).</span></div>
<div>If you would like to come to BOTH seminars (to imprint it in your memory), you are of course more than welcome to.</div>
